Johannesburg - Krüger National Park - Limpopo

Day 1: Flight from Europe/Johannesburg
Today morning you will arrive at the O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Your travel assistant will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Johannesburg. After you refreshed and had a small lunch at your hotel you will have a city tour through this cosmopolitan and vibrant city with your travel guide. In the evening you will enjoy a drink at a terrace overlooking the uncountable lights of the city.

Day 2: Johannesburg/Krüger National Park
Today you drive with your travel assistance towards the famous Kruger National Park. The drive will take about 4.5 hours. After your check-in at your lodge you can spend the afternoon relaxing on the terrace and enjoying a glass of wine. Take your time to relax and enjoy the view over the Kruger Park – maybe you can already spot some wild animals walking through the bush.

Day 3-5: Krüger National Park
Spend three full days at the Kruger National Park and drive with your private guided tour through the bush. Enjoy South African Wildlife at its best, listen to the legends of the area, hike through the bush-veld and take your trips on your 4x4 vehicle to spot Africa’s Big 5 – elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard – the 5 most difficult animals to hunt on foot in previous time. Listen to the noises of the bush while enjoying your dinner at your lodge, overviewing the waterholes and feel the rhythm of Africa.

Day 6: Krüger National Park/Limpopo
After your last bush breakfast at your lodge you hit the road again and drive towards Limpopo. You will check-in at your lodge in the Bela Bela area - approximately 3 hours driving time from the Krüger National Park. You will enjoy your lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon you will visit the hot springs of Bela-Bela. The hot mineral water is well-known around the world and you should not miss a few hours there to relax.

Day 7: Limpopo
Today you will visit the Makapan valley, a cultural heritage site which can't be found somewhere else in the world. Together with your guide you will discover historical secrets of South Africa and you will enjoy your picnic-lunch surrounded by breath-taking South African landscape. In the afternoon you will walk through the famous caves of Limpopo, which will give you a great impression about human evolution. In the evening you will enjoy a special sundowner at your lodge - taste the famous Amarula - a cream liqueur made in Limpopo.

Day 8: Limpopo/Johannesburg
After breakfast you will start your journey back to Johannesburg. On the way back you will drive through the gorgeous mountains of Limpopo, which will offer you great views and the possibility to walk through the old and impressive Baobab trees, which play a very important role in South African culture. You will arrive in Johannesburg in the late afternoon and check into your hotel.

Day 9: Johannesburg/Flight back to Europe
Today it’s your day of departure. You will have a late check-out at the hotel, so you can refresh yourself before your flight back to Europe in the evening. Your travel assistant will visit one of the best craft markets in Johannesburg where you are able to buy some souvenirs or just enjoy the lively market atmosphere. This will take about two hours, followed by a relaxed lunch in Johannesburg. After that you will drive back to the hotel and refresh yourself before you drive to the O.R. Tambo International airport. Now it’s time to say “Goodbye” and wish you a pleasant flight back home, with a lot of memories and stories to tell in your luggage!

- Go shopping on the market with your chef at the lodge and cook with him your dinner. Your chef will explain you the ingredients and teach you how to cook new and fancy meals
- Enjoy a private South African dinner in a 'booma', a wind-secure braai area (South African barbecue). Can be used for private groups or also for a romantic candle-light dinner for two
- Enjoy a high-class bush-picnic - no matter if you are a group or you prefer a charming picnic for two - surrounded by the South African bush or under a Baobab tree
