Giardini Naxos A well known tourism destination south of Taormina and a commercial city with a guest harbor. Founded 735 B.C. and was an important roman greek area. It was the first greek colony where you today can find the altar for the greek God Apollon Archegetes. The city is built along the coast line with its mainroad dividing the commercial area and long sandy beaches with a view over the mediterranean sea with large yachts, Etna, Castelmola and Taormina.
